Wings of Silver. Nerves of Steel.
This week and for however long this lasts, I am tackling the Silverhawks. I am also watching the cartoons to get inspiration and to remember the characters in a little more detail. While watching these cartoons again, one thing I noticed was that these individuals were able to breathe in space. Not only that, but there also seemed to be some kind of gravity in space as well. As an adult watching these cartoons again, these things don't make any sense to me.
Another thing I noticed is what is stated below in an excerpt from TVTROPES:
"When the "Limbo Galaxy" is introduced in the pilot episode, the main characters supposedly have to be converted to cyborgs because it's the only way they can survive such a long trip. The distance is then stated as 2 light years (half of the distance from Earth's sun to the closest neighboring star). If it were truly another galaxy, then it would be more like 3 MILLION light years. And 3 million light years is considered a very close neighbor in real-world intergalactic terms"
If you have remember the show and have any more things that don't make sense to you, or if you are big fan and just want to voice how much you love it, comment down below and let me know.
Don't forget to catch us as we , Omar Salinas, Adam Harris, David Lester and I draw 100 80s cartoons.
