I've been doing my best to set up the scene and backgrounds in these pages. I made it one of my goals this year and for this book. I know this slows down my process of putting out books, but it is one of those hurdles I need to jump over to be happy with my work.
One of the really interesting things about Clip Studio Paint is the feature of perspective rulers which makes creating perspective scenes so much easier than when I was using Photoshop.
Something else I decided to do in this book is to add people I know as background characters. On this particular page, I created a character to one of my biggest supporters, @rundeirun. While she may not look exactly like her, (cause we are dealing with aliens here people!) it's her!!, and she knows it. I'll continue to do this throughout the book. If I know how you look, you might just pop up in the background. I hope you continue to tune into my journey as I create this book and if you have any comments or questions, feel free to leave them below.
Until next time, #drawwatuwant.
